VIDEO: Montgomery Gentry - "Where I Come From"
With a new record label home, Montgomery Gentry is re-energized and ready to rock with their latest album, the appropriately titled Rebels on the Run. The project's debut single "Where I Come From" continues to catch fire with fans and the song's powerful music video is helping to fan the flames.
The clip pays tribute to those who serve our country in the armed forces by following deployed soldiers into the battlefield. Upon seeing the finished video, the duo was moved by the story it told. Eddie Montgomery says, "When I first saw the video it blew me away because we filmed our part in Nashville and they did the action parts in California, but watching it all together makes you feel like you're right there in the fight." Troy Gentry adds, "I was floored when I saw the video for the first time. Everyone involved did an awesome job. This is probably one of the best videos we have ever put out. [I'm] damn proud of it."
Throughout their career Montgomery Gentry has made a point to support those who are willing to give their lives to protect this great nation. Troy shares, "We have always loved showing our passion for our military folks and I am very proud of all our fans for their positive and patriotic response towards this video." Eddie calls the reaction from their fans "unbelievable." He continues, "Everyone knows someone in the military. They tell us all the time that it really touches their heart and makes them think of their loved ones that are serving and we also hear a lot about people's pride in their towns all over the country."
Eddie and Troy are currently on the road co-headlining the Professional Championship Bullriders Tour and recently celebrated their ACM nomination for Vocal Duo of the Year. For tour dates and more, check out MontgomeryGentry.com.
